Fully set up on the MB now.

That's that done then. Got the new RAM (from Crucial) in yesterday, that
rebooted and worked as expected (why not?).

The new hard drive arrived this morning (got a WD Scorpio 250GB from
Dabs for £52), and I got a USB-SATA enclosure off eBay for just over a
fiver. Bunged the new drive onto the external controller, did a clone
using Disk Utility, swapped the drives (took less than 5 mins - those
little screws weren't a problem). Rebooted fine again.

I'll let this test for a couple of days, and then try the external drive
on my AP Express.

The G5 sold on eBay too, and has just been collected, along with all the
bundle of stuff I put together.

All together, it's working out well, so far!
