Parallels and boot up time

by pjwalters@[EMAIL PROTECTED] (Phillip Walters) May 17, 2008 at 07:51 PM

I know this sounds a bit odd (to me anyway) but since installing
Parallels, with XP and Ubuntu virtual machines, my MBP boot up time
seems to have increased from its usual 25 to 30 seconds ish to around 40
seconds or more. I know this is not much of a difference but it has
always booted up fairly quickly and the difference is noticeable. Should
there be any reason for this ? Or is it just coincidence ?
