New IPhone and iPhone Owners

Anyone any thoughts on how it will work. It would be my assumption that 
anyone else who queued in Nov is probably really wanting one of the new 
ones close to release rather than having to wait a full 12 months for 
their contract to expire.

Do you think we will be offered an upgrade patch ? I spotted there is 
talk of a 100% subsidy by O2 for new customers etc
