Worth a try but it is supposed to need the extra oomph of an actual
power adapter.
Given that Apple don't supply you with a power adapter when you buy them
these days it seems an unfortunate requirement! However, cheap non-Apple
iPod power adapters are now readily available so it's best to get one.
