How to schedule an automator application ?

by adm <adm1@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > May 15, 2008 at 10:43 AM

I take a lot of photos in Nikon NEF format with a D300, then copy the
images from the CF cards to my MBP. I then go through and process the
NEFS in Nikon Capture NX and convert some of them to JPG for im****t
into iPhoto. These get dumped into a folder called (unsurprisingly)
"for iPhoto im****t". All of the NEFs then get dumped onto my NEF
archive drive. The NEFs are large files - about 13M each or so, so once
I have finished with them, I want them off the limited storage space on
the MBP.

I created an automator application that searches the "for iPhoto
im****t" folder for new content, then im****ts them into iPhoto and
deletes the originals. Also another one that does the same for my NEF
archive folder - copies all these to the external drive, then deletes
the originals on the MBP.

This all works fine, but I want to schedule it to run automatically -
how can i do this ?
