It seems that tools I built from mac****ts, like mutt and wget, suffer
slow dns lookups (~20 seconds, sometimes) whereas Leopard tools, like
ping, don't.
I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this?
(I'm guessing that rebuilding my mac****ts, which I need to do anyway,
may help.)
ObPerl: the same perl binary runs slightly faster on Leopard.
