Collapsing bookmarks

by The New Guy <replytogroup@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sep 13, 2007 at 11:33 AM

Say you've got pages of bookmark folders. And you want to save a new
bookmark in an existing folder. So you type the first few letters of
the folder like most people do and it doesn't work. It displays
folders AND subfolders. Is there any way of setting the drop down
bookmark list to collapse these folders? If I could just get to the
main folder list (without the subfolders) I could then use the arrow
keys to get to the next. Or the designers should design it so you
type in the first few letters of a folder OR subfolder and you get
where you want. But for now, just the main folder would be wonderful.
The whole point of subfolders is for them to be hidden until needed.
I hope this makes sense.
