pasting URLs from Terminal

by eravin@[EMAIL PROTECTED] (Ed Ravin) Apr 26, 2007 at 12:41 AM

When I copy a URL from a Terminal window that wraps across multiple lines,
when I paste it into Opera there is an intervening space at the line wrap
point. I need to manually delete the space before the URL will work.

I don't have this problem using Opera on Linux. Cut-and-paste from xterms
and the like work just fine.

Spaces aren't even valid in a URL, are they? I always use %20 when I'm
setting up links in a Web page.
