Re: I Can't transfer large files to Windows NT 4 Server. Help!

Hi Paul!

Up front I apologize for how I addressed you. After re-reading my
message it was uncalled for. Folks come to these forums looking for
answers (commercial or not) to problems and indeed Dave is an answer to
some problems. It's a good product that I've used myself and I
definitely sup****t vendors suggesting their products here.

However, your post doesn't try to address the user's problem. It's
simply a sales pitch and it doesn't even mention why it would be a
solution. It also doesn't address the fact that there may be underlying
issues that Dave can't fix (network hardware, switch speed and duplex,
faulty cabling, faulty network card, etc.).

Someone from Apple could have just as easily recommended moving to Mac
OS X Server. Would that resolve Andreas' issue? Probably. Is it the best
solution or even the best approach to resolving his issue? Nope. I'd
just like to see folks helped the best way possible (commercial or not)
