Windows Media Player 9 for Mac OS X 5.4

I have Mac OS X version 10.5.4 (Leopard) and have been trying to download
Windows Media Player so that I can listen to some radio stations live on
my
internet. But every time I try, it downloads but it says I need to choose
an
application to open it with. Everything I try to use, doesn't work. Any
suggestions?
