Installing Media Player 11 in Xp media centre 2004

I am trying to install Media player 11. 
In the XP help & Sup****t Centre my version is given as 2004
When I try to install Media Player 11 I get a message to install XP Media 
Center 2005 Roll up 2, of course when I try to install this I get a
message 
that it is not suitable for my version of XP 
I have run the Updates in Help & Sup****t.
Can anyone help?
