10 year Mac user at 10..4.11. Not sophisticated. I like to listen to a CBC
radio on my computer. Worked well for ages. Then things started to fall
apart. Repaired permissions endlessly. Can no longer launch Windows Media
Player. Unbelievably it now selects Excel as an opening application.
Command
i tells me I haven't modified to create this hell. It may have started
when
I was following something on a media rich site, i.e. CourtTV.
I have trouble with the flow from Firefox through Mozilla and Flip4Mac.
I have a new MacBook with Parallels and Vista but since I am having so
many
troubles with my tried and true Pimso. I don't want to transfer them to
the
unblemished.
It is driving me mad. I will truly appreciate help.
