when you switched on in Entourage the sync with iCal a new calender
called "Entourgae" is been created in iCal. Only events in this
calender are been synced to Entourage. THis means that you have to
"move" all appointments etc. from the various calenders you may have
in iCal into the "Entourage" calender.THen it works.
I have the same problem and looking for a tool which could do this for
me.
