Hi William,
Yes, I read about the hotfix, and the server admin had already applied it.
Unfortunately, it had no bearing on my problem.
In fact, my issue can be cleared on my computer quite easily, but it's
just
annoying to have to do it repeatedly, day after day. Instead of retyping a
password, I can actually:
* select No in the dialog telling me mail can't be received,
* then access the Account Settings for my Exchange account,
* then just click OK and close out of the two windows.
Within a few seconds, the Not Connected warning disappears, and the
account
functions normally again -- until the next occurrence. This process has to
be repeated sometimes 10 times a day, sometimes once a day.
On the other hand, if I click Yes in that original dialog about receiving
mail, then it wipes my keychain password and Iım stuck retyping or pasting
it over and over, usually five to seven times per incident. I figured this
out by watching the changes in Keychain while the process was going on in
Entourage.
