Today I was cleaning out my inbox, and I applied a filter that was supposed
to remove all email in my inbox that was 30 days or older but the filter
did
not work. Instead another one of my filters was activated and it sent out

auto replies to a person. Its strange because this persons emails were not
in
my INBOX, but were in another folder. I never activated that filter, and I
do
not understand why Entourage launched it.
I am using IMAP, and not POP3 and perhaps this is the reason. IMAP does
have
its issues...
Its also strange why entourage launched these filters in the background
without my consent.
Its bad because I was not supposed to contact this person, however I did
have this persons emails on my hard drive, and the filter was only set to
auto reply to this person, encase this person emailed me. But this person
did
not email me and I do not understand Entourage. Regardless its a technical
excuse.
