Hi Andreas,
this is a problem that I have had in the past, I thought that iMovie may
be
able to do this, but I couldn't find the option anyway (also it means you
have to purchase iLife).
The solution is to download a free application called bitplayer. I read
about this on www.macOSXhints.com
Rather than repeat that story here is a link, this should give you a
step-by-step guide on how to rotate your movies.
