It may be the case that there is a Macintosh application that has a
dialogue
box on the screen which is preventing other windows' controls from being
operable. And it may be perchance that that dialogue is being hidden by
RDC's full-screen desktop display.
Press the key combination Caps-Lock, Command-2 to stop full-screen mode,
and
see if you can find what the culprit Macintosh window is.
Caveat: this is a guestimate to a plausible problem--I hope this helps.
