Font Smoothing Option Missing

by Pixelbasic@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Mar 3, 2008 at 02:42 PM

Hi,
I'm a recent switcher. I'm connecting my new MacBookPro (client) to my HP
ZD8000 laptop (host) running XP SP2 here on my local office network. No
problems there.

However, under my RDC 2.0 Beta preferences all the display options are
available but there is no option for selecting the Font Smoothing as
described in the help documentation. Does anyone know why?

I'm using RDC 2.0 beta with all the display settings checked (million
colors, show background, etc.). I also just updated my RDC client to the
6.0 version on my old laptop.

At one point I tried the older RDC mac version but it was available with
that version either.

I'm a graphics designer so I know I have ClearType and all the usual
display/experience settings turned on the old laptop.

Thanks,
Jason
