Macintosh Excel Data Loss

Hi,

Client has been getting the There is a problem with Microsoft.  Some of
the 
data you were working on may be lost...." error for some time.  This time 
when she reopened the document no data is there.

Is there anything else that can be done to retrieve the data besides what
is 
listed in http://sup****t.microsoft.com/kb/142117>
