Won't happen.
Developing a run-time engine for MS Access would likely be nearly as
horrendous a task as ****ting Access, and there just aren't enough
potential customers to justify the investment.
Access fills a mid-level db application niche in Windows that has been
adequately filled on the Mac by FileMaker Pro, and R4. Since OSX is a
Unix-based operating system, heavy-duty db work is far better done using
a flavor of SQL, for which there are myriad front-ends as good or better
than Access.
However, you CAN use MacXL as a window into an Access db via ODBC:
