I'm afraid you're asking in the wrong place:-( Nothing from Microsoft is
going to address the problem - it's an issue between HP & Apple... mostly
HP.
I'd suggest you inquire in the Apple Discussions as well as any HP sup****t
groups. It's possible that an HP driver for a different printer may work
or
that there is a generic/GIMP/Guttenprint driver that will sustain you
until
HP gets their act together.
