I’ve just installed Outlook 2007 (with SP1) and i’m stuck on a problem:
Configuration
2 IMAP accounts:
Leon @[EMAIL PROTECTED]
JLMeijer.com
Leon@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
LMeijer.nl
Both with the same password and running on the same mailserver.
Mailserver
The mailserver has a primary domain JLMeijer.com, this means that when eg
you login as “Leon” the mailserver automatically adds
“@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
in my Outlook 2007 I configured 2 mailboxes, 1 with as login/username
“Leon @[EMAIL PROTECTED]
JLMeijer.com” and the 2nd with as login/username: “Leon
@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
LMeijer.nl”. (both with the same password).
The JLMeijer mailbox Works fine, but when I open the folders of the
@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Outlook probaly tries to login “without” @[EMAIL PROTECTED]
and
of
course this works because JLMeijer.com is the primary domain and h as a
user
called “Leon”.
While in outlook I configured the Leon @[EMAIL PROTECTED]
LMeijer.nl mailbox with as
login/username Leon @[EMAIL PROTECTED]
LMeijer.nl (not without @[EMAIL PROTECTED]
) and when I
change the primary domain to eg JLMeijer.local (a non existing domain) I
see
in the error log “Trying to authenticate user Leon@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
user
does
not exist”, and after that outlook adds @[EMAIL PROTECTED]
and login will be in
the
right mailbox.
So now my question is, where can I configure outlook to always add the
domain suffix?
