USB Overdrive will allow you to define something as Middle Click, and
generally has other nice features...I have the inner right button
defined as Click Lock and the outer as Double Click (or Command-Click in
some applications). It completely replaces the Intellipoint software.
It's shareware, $20, from www.usboverdrive.com.
(As an aside, I've noticed lately that the number of trackballs seems to
be declining, as everyone goes to wireless laser optical mice. I
consider this a sad thing.)
