Unfortunately you don't provide enough information to narrow down the 
possibilities & this isn't a question pertaining to Microsoft products. 
You'd do best to research the problem in the Apple Hardware & Software 
forums here:

http://discussions.apple.com/index.jspa

Be sure to include all specific info, such as what type of Mac, what type
of 
CD, specific version of Mac OS, etc.
