I have a problem with our Windows 2003 Server Environment. Since we have
installed the SP1 and R2 for the 2003-Server (German Version), we have
Problems with the unloading behavior of the locally cached roaming user
profiles. They will not unload completely because three index.dat files
can
not be deleted. Because of this matter, every time a user logs on, new
folders are created like this: user_name, user_name.000, user_name.001
etc.
This behavior is described in KB840378 but this Hotfix is for pre-SP1
Users.
Until now I haven´t found a Hotfix that fixes our post-SP1 Servers.
Have you experienced the same problems or can you give me a hint of
solving
this problem?
