Re: Auto update for Office 2008 - strange behavior

Hooray! Problem solved!

For others who may have this same Autoupdate problem here's what I did
with Daiya and Diane's help:

1. Downloaded the correct Autoupdater for Office 08 at
<http://tinyurl.com/25h3cg>
and installed it. This put the Autoupdater
here: harddrive/Library/Application Sup****t/Microsoft/MAU2.0 where Daiya
said it should be.

2. I removed the Autoupdater for Office 04 from the Applications folder
and put it in the trash since I no longer have Office 04 on my computer.

3. I started Word. Clicked on the help menu to bring up check for updates
and the Autoupdater found that I did need SP1 which it downloaded and I
installed.

I am once again a happy Office 08 user!
