Confusion over Microsoft Office 2008 12.1

Heads up on 

When I spotted the Office 2008 update at http://www.macupdate.com/
it 
sounded like an Office 2008 update but when i clicked on the link

http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/9648/microsoft-office-2008

it got confusing saying buy the 12.1 update but more info talked about 
the 12.0.1 update and if you click on updater toward the bottom of the 
page you download an Office X updater. 

If I sound confused, I am
