I give up. I've reinstalled Word 2004 and, with it, full functionality. As
before it works flawlessly with Spaces. It must not be as
complexly-layered as 2008, but who cares as long it works? Windows don't
need to be resized and repositioned whenever they're opened. It also seems
more responsive overall. Compared to Word 2008, it feels like 5.1. Sad
really.
