Sorry you're having a problem but without any of the necessary information
it's impossible to offer any meaningful suggestions. The only thing to be
gleaned from your post is that you either don't have Office 2008 installed
or that you haven't yet applied the Update for the AutoUpdate application.
There could be other possibilities but without knowing what you're
starting
with nobody can tell what direction to go. If you would like assistance
please submit a new message including: Specific OS X & Office versions as
well as some history/background about your installation prior to the
attempt
to apply the SP1 update.
