Macros for Office 2008

by Kenneth Cohen <kcohen@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > May 14, 2008 at 05:00 PM

Thought Iıd throw out a suggestion for creating simple macros in the Office
2008 apps. Iıve been able to do this using Quickeys X3 version 3.2.1, a
comprehensive macro program which has vastly improved in usability since
the
original version 3.0. This program has a learning curve but itıs not
nearly
as complex as something like Applescript, Iıve been happily using it since
the early 1990ıs and Iım ³just an old country lawyer². Anyone who is an
³intermediate-level² or more experienced Mac user should have no trouble
learning to use it with a little patience. Among other things, it can
create
floating toolbars to hold lots of macro buttons, along the same lines as
the
Office 2004 apps.

(I have no connection with the publishers of the program.)
