There is a glitch with how fonts show in Word 2008. First and most
im****tant question. Go to Format | Font dialog. Do the missing fonts
show in the teeny scrollbox there?
If they show, then Word is reading the fonts fine, but there is a
problem with the other font menus.
If they don't show, then Word can't see the fonts at all, and it's a
totally different problem.
Second im****tant question--exactly what version of Word? have you
installed the 12.0.1 update (or the 12.1 update, just released today,
I'd let it shake out a bit before going there).

2008, but create issues for all our do***ents created in Illustrator and
InDesign. It should be noted that these fonts work fine in all the other
adobe and Apple applications on 24 other machines, and the symptoms appear
on all 6 machines I have installed Office 2008 onto (a mix of PPC and
Intel)
