have the same problem. it only appeared since the 12.1.1 update actually. i
updated to 12.1.2 and the problem is still there. what i notice is that if
i quit powerpoint and reopen the same file, it works fast again for a
while, i still have not determined what makes it go slower.
have a MBP with 4GB of RAM so that can't be the cause. all fonts are
arial.
