can I set a default font for the text box?

by ProfRich@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Jul 6, 2008 at 06:06 PM

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

Every time I open a text box, the default font is Times. I'd like to
change it. An answer was posted previously, but it doesn't work. It said,
"Click on the slide (avoiding any object) and then choose your font." But
when I do that, the font choice is greyed-out; I can't choose it.
My work-around is to change the font every time I open a new text box.
That's ridiculous. There MUST be a better way. (Why is it so hard to figure
this out? Shouldn't it be obvious?)
