Yes. Do you have SP1 (updated to 12.1) installed? I bet you are. That
is when it started for me. This bug was defiantly introduced in
between the release of PowerPoint v12.0 and v12.1.
And you are right, it only shows itself in any file that has not been
originally created form scratch in 2008.
In fact I stared a thread called "Spaces inserted in wrapped text" @[EMAIL PROTECTED]
to try and figure out this
problem. But I'm getting no solutions.
Try justifying the text and then watch things get really screwy! :-P
It looks like the programming for where to put the space at the end of
a line has been done incorrectly. You'll notice in a correct file the
space is located after the last character in a line before it wraps to
the next line. In the buggy files (SP1) the space has been programmed
to incorrectly drop to the beginning of the next line, thus creating
the unwanted indent.
