bulleted list animation

by mc61@[EMAIL PROTECTED] May 4, 2008 at 11:32 PM

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

Hello,

I want my bulleted list items to appear one by one. I know how to do this
with a custom animation, but what I do not like (in the least) is that all
items in the list during the slide show are dark and blurred to start with,
and then become in focus and with the right color font on click.

I want them NOT to show up at all before I click, and I do not seem to
manage to do that. How do I do that? It was possible in 2004...

Note: I am just practicing the slide show on my Mac, and I have not
connected it yet to a projector. Is this a "feature" when the slide show
is presented only on the main screen?

Also, I tried replacing the bulleted list with a SmartArt graphics. I like
the result very much, but it takes forever for each item to appear on click
(and I have one of the latest 17" MacBook Pros). I do mean several seconds,
even at the "fastest" setting. Even the whole slide (without items showing)
takes a very long time to appear from the previous one.

I find this lag time embarrassing on a professional presentation. Am I
doing something wrong.

Thanks,

mc61
