Even if I create a new empty single page PowerPoint presentation, if I
click on slide show mode it crashes PowerPoint immediately (after a brief
white screen).
I am running PP 2004 11.3.5 under Tiger 10.4.11. (Our company is not
migrating to Leopard until later this year).
My IT group tried reinstalling PP to see if it was a corrupted file and
that did not solve the problem.
I am on a MacBook Pro 2.4 (latest hardware). We tested this version and
the exact PowerPoint installation image on a Mac Mini and a MacBook Pro
2.33 and it worked fine. We tested it another another hardware idential
MBP 2.4 and it also crashes every time PowerPoint goes into slide show
mode.
Are other users of PowerPoint 2004 able to use it in slide show mode on
the very lastest MacBook Pros? Is there a simple fix?
