Unfortunately XML hasn't been as fully implemented in the Mac version as in
PC XL. Save the files on the PC as XML Spreadsheet files rather than as
XML
files. You don't need to use the Data> Get External Data option - just
open
the file as though it were a regular .xls or .xlsx, edit & save as usual.
