Sorry, but I don't have a clue. Usually uninstalling/reinstalling is
completely unnecessary for Mac programs, and sometimes, as you can see,
makes things worse. Since we no longer know what your configuration
really
is, we need to get back on common ground; so, I suggest you completely
uninstall office using the remove office program from the install CD. Then
empty the trash, restart the machine and reinstall from the original CD.
Then download and install the SP! Update. Again restart the machine and
repair permissions from the disk utility. Then lets see what happens.
