Re: excel 2008 chart problem

by andrea@[EMAIL PROTECTED] May 13, 2008 at 03:35 PM

Hi,
Somewhat the body of my post did my did no get through I will repeat here
(sorry for about this) :
I'm using excel 2008 in English with Leopard 10.5.2 in Italian.
Numbers in the excel files I use show the correct decimal separator
obtained by system preferences. If I create a chart, add a trendline and
select the option of displaying the equation on chart then I start having
problems: if I try to modify the number of decimal places using "Format
trend Label" then the decimal separator and the 1000 separator are
inverted (respect to system settings) and the number shown by the label is
completed "destroyed". Of course if I set the system to English (both as
language and as format) the bug is solved but this is something I would
not like to do. Is there any way to solve this? thanks in advance
