I'm sorry I don't have a solution for you, but I can confirm that the
Limits
& Specifications for Excel 2008 are identical in this regard to those of
Excel 2004: 32,767 characters per cell capable of displaying all in the
Formula Bar but only 1,024 in the cell. AFAIK there is no preference
setting
that would change that.
Can you provide more specific detail about your OS & Office versions, Mac
specs any anything additional you can share about the files themselves.
Odd
as it may seem, also check to see if there may be an update available for
your printer driver.
I am seeing some unexpected behavior in what I've been playing with but
want
to test further before commenting. I hope to be able to do so later this
evening or tomorrow.
