Can't See Worksheets

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

When I open any previously saved worksheet in Excel, I can't see it unless
I go to full page view. This applies to worksheets created in earlier
versions as well as 2008. This is weird!
