No, that's what I am saying. The .DS_Store file has nothing to do with
anything but custom attributes of a folder such as the position of icons
or the choice of a background image of *Finder* windows. It has nothing
to do with Entourage windows!
Keep in mind that .DS_Store files hold more than just Finder window
positions. For instance, .DS_Store files contain Spotlight Comments of
all the folder's files. If you delete a .DS_Store file, you lose all
Spotlight Comments for all files in that folder! Not a good idea!
It's really not worth a shot, IMO!

Same here; but I do advise against recommending that others delete their
..DS_Store files without explaining the ramifications and potential data
loss to them!
