FIXED !!
I followed the instructions provided under "Lost my identity"
http://www.entourage.mvps.org/database/index.html#db1
and identified the files in my MAC that had dates yesterday when I
downloaded a MAC update.
I did not understand the instructs like "the appropriate location" (on
the earth or what?). A tech guy who is a Mac user interpreted the
instructions using the three open windows showing them. SHAZAM! al
Hamdu illah! It came back.
Whatever it is in downloads that does this - please fix it. But not
with another feline please.
