I have the same problem as the original poster.   We use a hosted
exchange provider for our family's email which provides a free version
of Entourage 2008 for each user.  The software works perfectly (with
Exchange) if I install it before I install Office 2008 Home and
Student edition.  This is a licensed version of Entourage with its own
product license.

When I then try and install Office 2008 Home and Student edition (even
by doing a custom install so as not to install Entourage from the
Office disk), nothing works after the install.

This is not a licensing issue.  I have two valid licenses - one for
Entourage and one for Office Home and Student edition.  And, I am
using this in my home (for non-commercial purposes) and for my kids
who are students.

So how do you install these on the same machine?  My next step is
Microsoft sup****t, but if someone has found a solution, I'd appreciate
it.
