Hope someone can help.
I made a Powerpoint [.pptx] which measured 9.1MB. I then compressed it to
get a zip file of 8.2MB.
The file was then attached to an Entourage email for sending. I noticed
that the attachment file size had increased to 11.1 MB! This size was
confirmed when the email bounced back from intended recipient due to it
being over 10 MB in size.
I then tried attaching the file to an Apple Mail email, and found the
attachment to have 'retained' it original size and went to the intended
recipient without any problems.
Any ideas why the attachment increased in size when attached to an
Entourage email?
No big deal I suppose as I can just use Apple mail instead. Would just
like to know what the cause is.
