after installing the critical update released

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Power PC
Email Client: pop

ever since i uplodaded the critical update, nothing opens on command. i
tell it to open a .doc file and it takes me to the project gallery. i tell
it to open a excel spreadsheet and it takes me to the gallery page. i am
frustrated and need some help please. T
