HI Doug,
You hit the nail on the head with this diagnosis.
System Prefs > International > Formats > Region: was set to "Custom" and
the
Times section's "Short" setting did not have AM/PM included.
Clicking/dragging that into the "Show:" field allowed Entourage to display
AM/PM. One might just as well change set Region: to "United States" and
avoid the problem altogether.
I had been looking in System Preferences > Date & Time, which has always
been set to "Show AM/PM". I can now see that this setting only affects
your
clock display in the Apple menu bar.
Note: I had changed the International > Formats setting some time ago,
while
troubleshooting for a user. Guess I need to be doubly sure to change
settings back to defaults.
