The first thing you need to do is make sure all of your data is backed up.
Especially make a backup of your Identity folder.

The problems you are describing are not typical. You need to do some
troubleshooting.

Testing in a new User will quickly tell you if the problem is system wide
or
if it's your User's folder that contains the problem.

Go to System Preferences --> Create a New User in Accounts. Switch to the
New User by logging out/in or use Fast User Switching. Test Entourage
there.  You will have to enter your Account info. Be sure to set to "leave
on server" for the test.

To test your database in the new user, drag it to Shared folder. In the
new
User, drag from Shared (it actually copies) to the Do***ents folder -->
Microsoft User Data folder.
