Try using these keyboard shortcuts do***ented in Entourage help:
OPTION+COMMAND (Apple)+[ Delete the current message and display the
previous message.

OPTION+Command (Apple)+] Delete the current message and display the
next
message.
====
CTRL+OPTION+[ Delete the current message and display the previous
unread
message.
====
CTRL+OPTION+] Delete the current message and display the next unread
Message.
