Calendar events marked by category faded,

Hello,

I just upgraded from Office 2004 to Office 2008, and in the Month view of
my Calendar, all of the appointments I've marked with different categories
(i.e. Personal, Travel, etc) now look very faded and are difficult to read.

In the Week view they're fine, as the text is black and the background is
the category color, but in the Month-view the text is in the same color as
the category, and the words are now so faded in color that I have to
squint.

is there any way to "punch up" or fortify the color of the text?
